Long Term Rentals:

Landing Locals is a resource that partners with home owners to help tackle the housing crisis in the area by utilizing second homes that would otherwise sit vacant.

Another way that people find rentals is by joining the Facebook Truckee-Tahoe PeopleNorth Lake Tahoe / Truckee Renters Network, and North Tahoe/Truckee Classifieds groups to find housing.

Enter “rentals” in the “Search this group” field. You could also post out to the community about yourself and what you’re looking for.

Many landlords also post their rental listings on Reno Craigslist.com (enter “North Lake Tahoe” in the search field).
