Placer County staff will provide an informational session on new STR (short-term rental) ordinance standards, requirements, and fines/penalties as well as a live permit application demonstration of the new online software which will be utilized for permit intake starting April 1, 2022. The webinar is targeted to current STR operators looking to renew or those seeking a new STR permit during the 2022 permit cycle. A new permit system will be available for applications starting April 1, 2022. Join on Wednesday, March 16 at 6PM via Zoom HERE.

By a unanimous vote of the Placer County Board of Supervisors on February 8, the replacement short-term rental ordinance was adopted and has taken effect.
