In recognition of financial hardships caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the TCPUD responded on December 18, 2020 by reinstating the suspension of late fees and penalties associated with the District’s water and sewer utility billing. This action was implemented for all customers as a way to alleviate concerns regarding their ability to pay their utility bills due to a loss of income resulting from the current situation. This suspension of late fees and penalties is in place until further notice.

The State of California’s COVID-19 directives have caused additional sustained financial hardships on local businesses. On Jan. 22 the TCPUD Board of Directors adopted Resolution 21-01, extending a Temporary Commercial Sewer Rate Relief Program through May 2021.
The temporary Program automatically reduces the monthly or quarterly sewer rate fee by 50% for all commercial sewer customers within TCPUD’s service area.
