Placer County Board of Supervisors extends moratorium on Short-Term Rental Permits until March 2022

At their meeting on Tuesday, August 31, the Placer County Board of Supervisors extended the existing Short-Term Rental Permit Moratorium until March 31, 2022. The decision was made to provide time to further study and explore revisions to the STR Ordinance before a decision is made regarding how to proceed. View the Placer County Staff Report HERE.

 

Placer County Public Health issues new COVID-19 health warning

Placer County Public Health is advising residents regardless of vaccination status to use high-quality masks (like surgical or KN95 masks) while in all indoor settings to protect against the COVID-19 Delta variant. Read more HERE.

 

Placer County poll workers needed in North Lake Tahoe

The Placer County Elections Office is accepting applications for all poll worker positions in North Lake Tahoe for the upcoming Sept. 14 California gubernatorial recall election. Poll workers who are bilingual in Spanish are also in need. A training class will be held in North Lake Tahoe on Sept. 9. Learn more HERE.
