The Sierra Small Business Development Center is currently organizing a multiple stakeholder group for a Q&A on September 28 at 9am on business wildfire recovery.

At this time, Placer County is eligible for one of the federal declarations related to the Dixie and River fires. In the Tahoe Basin this would allow for economic injury loans only due to smoke impacts.

The Caldor fire declaration is only for eligible non-profits in El Dorado County at this time. The easiest place to find all the declarations related to a County is HERE.

SBDC will present all of this information at the September 28 Q&A as well as information related to insurance, other areas of financial assistance, and a possible pivot of the Resilience Fund loan program.

Also, the CA Relief Grant is open now! This is a COVID-related program and businesses are encouraged to apply before Sept. 30. Learn more HERE.
